iPhone 13 Release Date: The iPhone 13 will likely be announced on September 14. Apple will host an event on September 14, and that’s when we’ll likely hear about the iPhone 13.
iPhone 13 Price: According to one leak, the iPhone 12 range will be priced similarly to the iPhone 12 mini. The iPhone 12 mini, the cheapest 2020 iPhone, started at $699 / PlayStation699 / AU$1,199. While the iPhone 12 Pro Max costs $1,099 / PlayStation1,099 / AU$1,849. There is evidence that the price may rise slightly.
Design: The iPhone 12 is unlikely to see any major changes, but the company may be making some design changes to the rear camera. The two lower-priced phones will have a diagonal lens arrangement, but it appears that the overall design is similar to last year’s handsets. However, the notch is slightly smaller.
Colors: Apple could introduce new colors with its iPhone 13 series. Two of the most popular versions are orange and pink. We expect to see the same shades as last-gen in other colors, including white, purple, and black.
Display: The screen sizes and resolutions will remain the same across all iPhone 13 products. However, both iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max are widely rumored not to have 120Hz refresh rates. This means that the images on these screens will look smoother than those of previous iPhones. We expect each handset to have an always-on display.
Camera: Apple will likely be updating the camera in the iPhone 13 series. The Pro handsets could also get an ultra-wide lens. An upgraded telephoto camera may be available for the iPhone 13 Pro. Some leaks also suggest that LiDAR will be available on all four models. This will allow you to have a better depth perception. However, more recent leaks do not mention it, so don’t expect it. There are expected to be improvements in video recording software, including a Portrait mode.
Specifications: Each handset will be powered by the A15 chipset, but current reports don’t suggest that this will provide a significant power boost. Rumors abound that Apple will release a 1TB iPhone in 2021 for the first-ever time, which would allow for the largest iPhone sizes.
Batteries: The biggest iPhone 13 battery leak suggests that 2021’s iPhones will have a larger battery. These will be significantly larger than the iPhone 12’s 2,805mAh. What does this mean? Expect an iPhone 13 that lasts longer than the iPhones before it.
