Sports Club in Tunbridge Wells

Royal Tunbridge Wells started as a spa town after seeing local springs. The water is said to have medicinal properties, so the early settlers were associated with health.

Of course, some of these people love sports and set up clubs where they can practice their favorite sport in a peaceful environment. In addition to the clubs of the 18th and 19th centuries, new sports clubs were established in the 20th century and the second half to maintain suitable classes that focused on smaller sports such as Jug Jets and Sumba.

The cricket hall was built in 1782 for the oldest cricket stadium in Tunbridge Wells.

Tunbridge Wells FC was founded in 1886 and is undergoing major name changes based on eight different foundations. The current club was formed from the ashes of the part collected in 1966.
